These are the terms and conditions (“Rules”) that apply to the ‘Join our mailing list for a chance to Win BMW PGA Championship Tickets’ Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”). By signing up to the STANLEY mailing list Prize Draw, each entrant agrees to these Rules and confirms they have read and understood our Privacy Notice at stanleyblackanddecker.com/privacy-policy/global-privacy-policy. Please also see how we limit our liability to you in the “Liability” section below.
Short Terms

1. Promoter: The Promoter of this Prize Draw is Stanley Black & Decker UK Limited, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with registered company number 07059991 and registered office address at 270 Bath Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 4DX (“Promoter”).
ELIGIBILITY
2. Participants must be aged eighteen (18) or over at the time of registering and a resident in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland only) or the Republic of Ireland. The Prize Draw is not open to employees and contractors of Promoter or any promotion administrator or prize provider, their families and households and anyone else professionally involved or associated with the Prize Draw. Promoter reserves the right at any time to require proof of eligibility in such form as Promoter reasonably considers necessary.
3. This Prize Draw is open to all participants that have opted in to joining the STANLEY mailing list and receiving promotional email communications by providing their name and email address (“Subscriber”). Only active Subscribers will be entered into the Prize Draw. No purchase necessary to Enter or Win.
4. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the ‘unsubscribe’ link provided in the footer of marketing emails.
5. Subscribers that have unsubscribed will not be eligible to participate in any future Prize Draws from the date they have unsubscribed.
6. Participants must submit all entries to the Prize Draw in a personal capacity on their own behalf. Entries submitted via third parties or in bulk, or are automatically generated by computer, are prohibited and the Promoter reserves the right to refuse awarding a Prize (defined below) if the Promoter reasonably suspects that an entry was submitted by such means and/or is illegible, forged or incomplete.
HOW TO ENTER
7. To enter the Prize Draw, participants must complete the form online at: https://www.stanleytools.co.uk/newsletter by 23:59:29 on 24 August 2025 (“Closing Date”) and entering their:
- Full name
- Email address
- Trade
Only one entry per person is permitted. Entries made by fax, telephone, and email will not be accepted. Once the Entry has been made Participants are eligible to win the Prize Draw until the Closing Date. Participants may only win the Prize Draw one time.
8. Once the form has been submitted, participants will automatically be entered into the monthly Prize Draw.
9. Only those entries which comply with the Eligibility section set out above, will be considered valid (“Valid Entries”).
10. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, server, network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay a Participant’s entry to the Prize Draw and does not accept proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Draw. Incomplete entries will not be processed.
PRIZE DRAW SELECTION PROCESS
11. The Prize Draw will take place on the 25 August 2025.
12. One (1) Subscriber will be selected at random from all active Subscribers (“Winner”) and will be notified by email within two (2) working days of this selection of their win (“Winner Notification Email”). The Winner of the Prize Draw must claim the Prize within seven (7) days of the Winner Notification Email. If the Winner has not claimed the Prize during this period, the Winner forfeits this Prize and another Winner will be selected at random.
13. It is the responsibility of the Subscriber to check junk/spam for the Winner Notification Email and to contact the Promoter to claim their Prize. The Promoter is not responsible for a Subscriber who fails to claim their Prize or who is late claiming their Prize, including but not limited to where such failure or delay is because: they did not receive the Email; because they failed to read and/or respond to the Emails; or, because they missed/did not read the Emails because they were in their junk folder.
PRIZE
14. There is one (1) Prize to be won in this Prize Draw. The Prize consists of two (2) Hospitality tickets to the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club, Surrey on Saturday 13th September 2025 (“Prize”) and includes the following Prize elements:
a) Official VIP Admission ticket to the course & 72 Lounge
b) Access to a seating area in the 18th Green Grandstand, reserved until 4pm
c) Informal, unreserved seating throughout
d) Morning breakfast rolls, pastries with coffee, tea and juices
e) Freshly prepared lunch options from self-service selected food stations
f) Complimentary bar serving unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks
15. The Prize excludes all costs and expenses incurred by the winner and guest that are not expressly set out above, including:
a) The cash bar for champagne, cocktails and spirits,
b) Any transportation
c) Any overnight accommodation
d) Travel and medical insurance, visas, and any other required travel documents
e) Any required COVID-19 testing, vaccinations and/or quarantining or self-isolation
f) Any additional discretionary spending; and
g) Any related taxes.
16. The winner and guest are solely responsible for ensuring that they are able to attend the event on 13 September 2025 and no alternative times and dates are available.
17. Hospitality tickets are provided by Promoter’s third-party sports ticket agency, Sport Five.
18. Prizes are subject to all applicable ticket and venue terms and conditions. The winner and guest must comply fully with such terms and conditions and all laws and regulations applicable to the Prize (including in relation to health and safety). Promoter will have no liability to the winner or guest if the winner and/or guest are unable to receive the full benefit of the Prize or are denied entry to, or are asked to leave, any venue as a result of a failure to abide by the ticket or venue terms, any applicable law or as a result of inappropriate behaviour.
PRIZE FULFILMENT
19. This Prize is fulfilled by Sport Five, a ticket event agency acting on behalf of the Promoter. The Prize tickets will be in digital format and will be sent to the Winner via email approximately one (1) week prior to the event date. This Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. However, if it becomes necessary for reasons beyond Promoter’s control (e.g., where any element of the Prize becomes unavailable or changes for any reason), the Prize (or any element of the Prize), the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a Prize of equivalent or greater value in Promoter’s discretion. This may happen, for example, but is not guaranteed, if the Prize or any element of it becomes unavailable due to adverse weather conditions.
DATA PROTECTION
20. Entrant’s personal data will not be used for marketing purposes and not disclosed to third parties unless Entrant opts in to receive such marketing communications (and you can opt out any time). You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by utilizing the procedures outlined at https://www.stanleyblackanddecker.com/privacy-policy. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here.
21. Promoter will collect and process a Subscriber’s personal data as necessary to administer the Prize Draw. The Promoter will process the Subscribers personal data in accordance with Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at www.stanleyblackanddecker.com/privacy-policy. Subscribers can request access to their personal data, have any inaccuracies rectified or request deletion of personal data by sending a request via this link: www.stanleyblackanddecker.com/data-privacy-policy-inquiry-form.
22. Third Parties: Promoter may use third parties operating under Promoter’s instructions for purposes of administrating this Prize Draw. Such parties may have access to the Subscriber’s personal data to deliver Prize.
GENERAL
23. Participants may contact Promoter about Winner details by email stanleyredemption@sbdinc.com within three months of the Prize Draw end date.
24. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, or reasonable belief to suspect collusion to subvert the terms and conditions of the Prize Draw, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of the Prize Draw, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw and/or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavor to minimize the effect to Participants and/or Winners in order to avoid undue disappointment.
25. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which must be provided within seven (7) days of request) and to refuse to award a Prize or withdraw Prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Prize Draw and disqualify the Participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this Prize Draw’s entry requirements or otherwise where a Participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Prize Draw or won using fraudulent means.
26. Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Prize Draw or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury or death caused by its negligence and fraud). Your statutory rights are not affected.
27. If any of the clauses in these terms and conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
28. The Promoter will have no liability for any delay in informing the Winner of their win, Prize details or delivery of the Prize.
29. These terms and conditions are final and non-negotiable.
30. This Prize Draw and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and both Participants and Promoter irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
